Modernism Poetry and the American Dream

The modernism era of literature brought great growth to the American literary movement in the late 19th century and early 20th century as new methods of expression were explored along with major changes in all aspects of the American lifestyle.

Meanwhile it was also the start of the slow death of the American Dream and the realization for many people that the American Dream was just that, no more than a dream.
